Does your Sales and Marketing work hand in hand or are they a million miles apart.
Marketing Managers hate to be measured. They spend a fortune and then try to tell you "Oh that can't be measured but it's getting your name out there"
Rubbish marketing has to be measured, if not how do you know which Marketing activities are making you money and which are costing you money . At the end of the day you probably don't work for Nike where brand advertising is god regardless of the cost
If you are not measuring your marketing activities then stop the campaigns now, find a way to measure each activity and test them. The one's that work put your money in that direction and the ones that cost you money stop them but for each activity that fails replace it with another two and test again
I will leave you with a very interesting thought
"If you are a poor marketer, you'll be spending all of your time selling".
